Bundle up and get ready for a day of cosplay, gaming, and community at Winter Cos Con! Join us on Sunday, January 18th, 2026, inside Apex Entertainment at Crossgates in Albany, NY for a cozy mid-winter Cosplay celebration.

Enjoy a full day of activities from 10 AM to 6:00 PM, including:

  • Arcade – Play, compete, and hang out in Apex’s awesome arcade space! Kevin Q Gray is offering mini photoshoots throughout the day bookable through his instagram page, @kevinqgray
  • Panels & Discussions – Learn from creators, cosplayers, and community leaders.
  • Cosplay Craftsmanship Competition – Show off your skills and creations before a panel of experienced cosplay judges. Prejudging and cosplay contestant mixer are part of the event! Craftsmanship Competition Info Here
  • Contest with commentators Venus Nebulous, James Cosplay, Jennard & Directed by Breadbite Cosplay with Judges Cosplay Hopeful, Ashley Is Alot and Lothlorien Cosplay

  • Artist Alley – Shop for original art, handmade goods, and merch from local artists. NO AI allowed at all.

PANEL APPLICATIONS and ARTIST ALLEY ARE FULL! Thank you everyone for your AMAZING support!

$12 tickets for event room online now! With access to the event room, you get access to what we’re working so hard to put together – our artist alley, panels and our premiere craftsmanship competition.

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR COSPLAY PER THE VENUE – Apex Entertainment has been so kind and accommodating to us hosting this event, so we kindly ask that you follow their regulations for cosplay.

NO SEXUAL, DEMONIC, RELIGIOUS OR POLITICAL THEMES. This is a shared space ❤ We don’t own it, and we would like to use it again so please be respectful of what the venue asks us. Characters from popular media like Hazbin Hotel are totally fine. If you would wear it at a family friendly con, you can wear it here. Unsure on a specific character? Reach out to us at saratogacosplayevents@gmail.com

NOTE – IF YOU ARE BANNED FROM ANY OTHER SARATOGA COSPLAY EVENT PER OUR HARASSMENT POLICY – DO NOT ATTEND THIS ONE. You will be asked to leave.
