Winter Cos Con is coming up in less than two weeks on January 18th, 2026 from 10 AM to 6 PM at Apex Entertainment Albany – more info/tickets for our event room on our Eventbrite

We are pleased to have panels and programming running throughout the day from our team and Cosplay Community – check out the schedule and come show them your support!

10:00 AM Welcome Everyone! Doors open now – check in, say hello to everyone and check out the Artist Alley!
10:30 AM — Questionable Food Combinations in Cookie Run — Slime Enigma Cos
11:00 AM — Cosplay and Disability — Dean & Casimir – The ins and outs, personal struggles and stories from the disabled cosplay community.
11:30 AM — Community Organizing — Jen & Macosten – Learn where to get started with Community Organizing at Meetups and Events featuring experienced event organizers.

12:00 PM — Craftsmanship Mixer – This is a break from our Panel Schedule for competition prejudging. Room will be used for judges and contestants only and light snacks will be served – as a reminder for our allergic besties, Apex Entertainment is a nut free facility.

2:00 PM — Photographing Cosplay — Chloe Wise (@cuutiepatootieee) – A panel discussing the process that goes into photographing a cosplayer and editing your own photos. Learn how to make the best of your cosplay pictures and tips and tricks!
2:30 PM — A Guide to Sustainable Cosplay Alterations — Ze.telier – An instructional panel about altering cosplays in various ways while practicing sustainability to prolong the life of a cosplay through multiple owners.
3:00 PM — Create and Mean It — Dave Mann, Magical Lee & AshleyisAlot – Is it shareable? Is it wearable? Does it make others think? But seriously – make something, and make it yours. A discussion panel about putting our voices and actions into the universe (and the stories of all the things that may come back)

4:00 PM — Craftsmanship Competition – The main event! Come and watch our contestants take to the runway. Commentators are Venus Nebulous, James Cosplay, Jennard and Breadbite Cosplay
5:00 PM — Reception / Close Down. Congratulate the winners and have fun celebrating with friends until next time ~
