Saratoga Cosplay Events is partnering with Saratoga Comic Con to bring you this area’s ONLY IDOL SHOWCASE! Hosted by Slime Enigma Cos on Saturday, November 22nd at 6:00 PM. Applications will open on September 1st, 2025 and close on October 15th, 2025 – acceptances will go out as they are reviewed. Start rehearsing ✨✨✨✨✨
Rules & Info
Welcome to the Idol Showcase! This is a non-competitive, all-ages event celebrating Idols! Whether you’re a soloist or part of a group, we can’t wait to see you shine on stage!
✨ General Guidelines:
- Performance Length:
- Each performance should be no longer than 4 minutes.
- slight wiggle room may be allowed on a case-by-case basis.
- Audition video (in your application) should be minimum 30 seconds – can be a video from a previous con or just filmed at home if this is your first performance.
- Group Size:
- Maximum of 6 performers per group (due to stage size and safety)
- Multiple Entries:
- You may enter more than once, either solo or with different groups.
- Applications will be considered in the order received, with priority given accordingly to fit the most performers in.
- No Song Repeats from Fall Cosplay Competition:
- You may not perform the same song you used in the Fall 2025 Cosplay Competition (held earlier the same day).
- However, you may wear the same cosplay as long as the song is different.
- Past Songs Welcome:
- Songs performed in previous showcases or competitions are welcome, since this event is all about expression, not competition.
- Stage Layout:
- Our stage is shaped like a runway.
- It’s 4 feet wide, so plan your choreography and formations accordingly!
- Content Rating:
- This is an All Ages event. Please keep your lyrics, outfits, and choreography appropriate for a general audience.
