First up: Curling Cosplays! Curling Cosplay is hosting the Youth Cosplay Competition on Sunday and also is the director of the CRT! Not familiar with the CRT? It’s the Cosplay Repair Team! Curling Cosplay’s incredible repair team will be at the Cosplay Events Booth at the top of the stairs if you need any help throughout the weekend with your cosplay and can be found on instagram @cosplayrepairteam. 🪡🧵
Curling Cosplays is a preschool teacher, loves hand sewing while watching Sanders Sides and Disventure Camp, and his cosplay name was born from seeing the US Men’s curling team after their loss at the Olympics. ⭐️

Next up is Sydstar Cosplays – Sydstar has truly stepped up this year and is committed to making this the best event yet. Sydstar is an admin of our instagram page, @saratogacosplayevents and has done an amazing job sharing posts with our community! VENUS NEBULOUS has been around since the beginning, competing to winning to guesting and now Venus is our award-winning Performance Coordinator! We value having an amazing team of judges with experience in the field they are judging, and Venus has graced so many stages both as a professional and for fun. James Cosplay is a new addition to the Saratoga judging team this year, but not new to the con – he’s a member of the CRT! You can find him at the Cosplay Repair booth upstairs being a total craft nerd and judging the Cosplay Competition on Saturday! He’s a Trekkie and goes crazy for a good movie 🍿 He’s also half of a new cosplay podcast, @cosboxpod!
COMING UP NEXT is Breadbite Cosplay! Breadbite has won awards (including Best in Show!) at Saratoga Comic Con and is a great addition to the judges list…. also a member of the CRT!! Breadbite loves cartoons, shapes and colours and Spongebob Squarepants. Being silly brings her great joy!!! Follow Breadbite @breadbreadbite ⭐️ and fun fact….. Breadbite is the other half of @cosboxpod! Rumor has it she might even appear at the Cosplay Improv panel…
Welcome Julia Rose! Julia is known at Saratoga Comic Con as the 1st place winner of last year’s fall performance competition as ANXIETY! Julia Rose Cosplays is joining the team this year for the first time to assist us with Contest sign ups/check ins and you can catch Julia Rose Cosplays performing live at the youth contest halftime show (during judging!) Julia is also a passionate Hippo enthusiast and UnOfficial TJ Klune Promoter™️
Harley Nox is COSPLAY GOALS! Welcoming back this amazing cosplay guest is an honor – Harley Nox will be judging both competitions and chatting at the booth – They also have been published internationally over a dozen times and are a hoarder of craft supplies, ttrpg dice, and plushies (like a dragon hoards gold)
GMX Cosplay is a staple at Saratoga Comic Con and Mid Hudson Comic Con – he’s got many fans in the community and will be judging competitions both days! GMX Cosplay believes ANYONE can cosplay. @gmxcosplay on instagram
MINIMOON COSPLAY is joining us for the third time – this time as a judge at the Youth Competition on Sunday and helping out at the cosplay events booth. Minimoon is an award winning cosplayer known for their incredible work with wigs. Minimoon has an unhealthy obsession with hello kitty decor, nu-metal from 1996-2004, a degree in psychology, a degree in art, and a religious studies minor. Most notably – Minimoon Cosplay has very strong opinions on whether certain kinds of foods can be eaten as leftovers. @minimooncosplay on instagram 💖
SLIME ENIGMA COS is our Photoshoot Coordinator and can be found running around helping out with absolutely whatever needs doing in the cosplay department! Slime has been making their own cosplays for 7 years and is involved in Idol Groups: Sakura Crescent and Kirahoshi Sensation! We are honored to have Slime perform during the Adult Competition’s Halftime Performance – this is Slime Enigma’s first halftime performance appearance! Slime Enigma Cos lives on a farm irl and can be followed on instagram at @slime.enigma.cos
Jennard Cosplays has been the director of Saratoga Cosplay Events for too long to count – but this year has taken a step back to focus on her (virtual pet raising) career thanks to this amazing team helping and hosting! The power of friendship is so important. Jennard has professionally cosplayed at both SDCC & NYCC and has been a guest at 40+ cons – but still takes off at least six hours a year to rewatch Barbie Mermaidia. This year at SCC you can find Jennard hosting Cosplay Improv and answering emails 📧
Please take the time to meet our entire cosplay events and competition team, support the CRT, check out our photoshoots and kid’s cosplay parade. Each year the Cosplay Events team has amazing cosplay guests that work so hard to make it a welcoming, safe and accepting environment and a very fun show! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ We can all have a great time together while appreciating our fandoms, our hard work on costuming and meeting new friends.
Outside of the Competition and Cosplay Repair – the con has other cosplay guests downstairs too! Please check out the Resident Evil Cosplay Troop and go to their photoshoot! The incredible set up they have downstairs is a huge attraction for Saratoga Comic Con and their hard work truly shows.
