We at Saratoga Cosplay Events had another great season of organizing the cosplay events for Saratoga Comic Con – with special thanks to: Slime Enigma (photoshoots, dating game), Sunshine Cosplay (Cosplay Karaoke, Contest CoHost) Venus Nebulous (Performance Judge, Assistant Director) Judges/Guests Harley Nox and GMX Cosplay, Cosplay Repair Volunteers Breadbite Cosplay and James Cosplay, Sydstar Cosplay (Cosplay CoHost, Deathmatch Host and Kids Judge) Curling Cosplays (Cosplay Repair, Kid’s Contest Host) and to all of our attendees, supporters, cosplayers and whoever put cool ranch doritos in the green room. Thank you.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO ANSWERED OUR SURVEYS! Starting in January, those working on Saratoga Comic Con will be reviewing any improvements we can make (as we try to do every time!) We ran into a huge challenge this time when the audio/DJ we usually have (DJ Spicey) had to cancel and we had no replacement. The con struggled to get what we could on short notice. We hope DJ Spicey is well!
COSPLAY REPAIR – This was a huge success!! Nothing but great feedback on this. Amazing job, Curling Cosplays!
We’re told PANELS will change up for the next con! Let’s hope we can fit some great cosplay events in there.
Our other challenge was a big one – On Saturday, the City Center was so, so messy that we had to cut the last panel of the day (Slime’s Dating Game) short by AN HOUR so that the city center staff could get in there and clean. As a reminder – keep our con space clean!! It’s not fair to the staff to have to clean food and drinks up off the ground, it’s not safe or sanitary and also it looks really terrible in all those nice cosplay photos we alllllll like to get. Please pick up after yourself! ESPECIALLY ON THE parking garage bridge~
I think it was a very good con and I’m looking forward to seeing the 2025 team and plans!
For next events: Updating soon with news on a winter event, but for now our Spring Picnic date is announced: June 1st, 2025!
